Brief
Wellington School required additional classroom accommodation to provide increased capacity for examinations and teaching.
SiBCAS was appointed to manufacture, deliver and install a new modular classroom facility, providing the school with a high-quality, flexible space within a tight project timeframe.

Challenges
The key challenge was the programme, with the main installation required to take place during the school’s October break to minimise disruption to pupils and staff.
The final week of the project also had to be completed while the school was operational, requiring careful planning and coordination to ensure work could continue safely and efficiently alongside day-to-day school activities.
Solution
SiBCAS designed and manufactured a modular classroom facility tailored to Wellington School’s requirements.
The building was manufactured off-site, allowing SiBCAS to maintain quality control while reducing the amount of work required within the live school environment. Once complete, the modular units were transported to site and installed within the planned programme, creating a spacious and flexible environment suitable for both classroom teaching and examinations.
Outcome
The new modular facility was successfully delivered and installed within the required timeframe and completed to a high standard.
Any final items identified ahead of handover were addressed promptly, providing Wellington School with the additional space it required and a flexible facility that can support both teaching and examination requirements.
